Culinary & Medicinal
Herbs
No garden is complete without the herbs.
They give us the variety in flavors that keep the "same old"
ingredients from getting really boring. They nurture us with
their medicinal properties, healing cuts, clearing bronchial
passages and killing off parasites.
We grow all the usual culinary herbs, including:
basil, dill, sage, oregano, thyme, french tarragon and chives.
Our favorites have to be the medicinal
ones though. We either grow or wild harvest the following:
mullein, mugwort, wormwood, motherwort, St. John's
wort, yarrow, verbena, and elderberry to name just a few.
