Why do we offer a guarantee that is so amazing and can't be matched by anyone? Because all we do is care for our perfect little baby animals and we know they are the very best you can buy. And - it is kind of fun to tell other animal people that we guarantee everything for a year and watch their jaw drop. Seriously - it takes lots of hard work to produce an animal that you can stand behind in this way and we are proud to do it.

All animals purchased from Spruce Nubble Farm, Inc. (SNF) come with a one year health guarantee. Should an animal have a health problem which results in loss we will replace it.

The purpose of this guarantee is to make it clear that the animals we sell are as healthy as they come and you will succeed with them.

We have found that the key to making everyone happy is lots of communication. We can't help you solve problems we don't know about. Please let us know what is going on a soon as possible – we're here to help you and many minor problems can be easily fixed if they are dealt with early.

It is our desire to have thrilled customers and we will do all we can to make you happy. Unfortunately we all know that any small family owned business like ours does need some protections as well. This guarantee protects you and these provisions protect us.

• Under no circumstances will a refund be issued, the only remedy is a replacement animal.
• Shipping costs are not covered by our guarantee and they must be paid before a replacement animal can be shipped. If shipping costs were included in the price of your animal replacement shipment costs $125.
• If an animal is lost as a direct result of a husbandry error (out of water, overheating, crushed by badly mounted cage furniture, etc) that animal is obviously not covered by this health guarantee.
• SNF will make every effort to provide an identical animal (sex, type) but in some circumstances that is not possible. SNF reserves the right to substitute an animal of equivalent value. SNF may choose to take up to one year (one breeding season) to be able to provide you with an animal.
• We are only responsible for replacing an animal, not any consequential or out of pocket losses that you may incur.
• SNF weather policies regarding shipping apply to replacement animals.
• To receive a replacement animal you must have your animal examined by a qualified exotic animal vet at your expense. Your vet must provide us with a written report stating that they certify your caging is appropriate and that you understand the basics of husbandry. In addition if a cause of death can be determined that must be included in the written report. We are happy to provide your vet with a template if they have questions about what information is required. You should inform your vet that the SNF staff vet will call them to discuss the report and the animal.
• You may not dispose of any deceased animal until you have been authorized to do so by SNF. We may choose to have the animal shipped back to our facility. You agree to ship the animal. Any costs you incur will be deducted from the shipping cost of a replacement animal.
• A replacement animal is not guaranteed
