Maxwell is a private breeder who is focused on designers and his book has been well recieved by the community. Solid info in an accessible format and really good pictures. I've known Greg since his cagemaster days - which was before he even got into Chondros - and while lots of folks find it fun to attack him (it is valid that he is a bit far afield in some of his beliefs) he really is a good guy. |
The Kivet and Wiseman book has some amazing info, this is the one that has the typical juvenile patterns by locality type.
This book also covers the Emerald Tree Boa.The one thing I don't like about this book is that it fails to talk about commercial cages. |
Doug Mader's book is a must have for most trips to a vet. This is "the" text that has pretty much replaced Frye's as the vet manual of choice. |
